TASK 1A

Hi everyone this is my original CV

Uploaded it from Windows Word so has gone on to two pages instead of one, but you get the idea.


I have re-written some of this CV in to my "About Me" as a brief version.
But this is it in full.

I started dancing since I was three. At the  age of fourteen  I auditioned for the Brit School for Performing Arts at the age of fourteen where I studied for four years in dancing and acting. During this time I gained experience from dancing in the "harrods parade" as a character, and shows where i choreographed and danced in. 
From then on I auditioned for a performing arts college and received a scholarship at the Italia Conti Arts Centre. Throughout my training I worked on various jobs and was sent out on auditions. My first job I did was on the film "The Boat that Rocked" directed by Richard Curtis. I then went on to doing short films, and was featured in a Pot Noodle Commercial. I also worked on Harry Potter as a Slyltherin school girl. 
During my training I gained experience from doing lots of shows in the theatre and worked with various choreographers and directors in the industry along the way who I felt inspired by.

After graduating from performing Arts college I worked on many series for  "Pop Girl TV" as a dancer/actress. I then auditioned as a soloist dancer at the Royal Albert Hall and choreographed and performed a solo contemporary piece in front of Royals .

During my training I took all of my ISTD dance and teacher's exams and qualified as an ISTD teacher teaching under the Imperial society of Theatre Dance. The qualifications I hold enable me to teach and enter  students  for exams with  syllabus and free work,  from a Primary level up to Intermediate and advanced level in modern, ballet, jazz and tap. As well as this I hold a Professional Certificate in Education which allows me to teach students in higher education. I teach classes in the public sector and privately such as ballet, contemporary, dance performance, musical appreciation, jazz and Urban dance.
Along the way of gaining my teachers qualifications I have had experience from working among different institutions such as the fitness industry; working at local gyms, higher education colleges; working with young adults, government funding performing colleges, sports centres, private dance schools and public dance schools. Throughout this I have gone on many courses and taught workshops with my knowledge. I have gained my Zumba Fitness qualification to teach adults to keep fit in a Latin based dance style, and have taught range of workshops from teaching baby’s aged three years to five years in creative dance and teenagers and young adults street dance workshops. This taught me how to promote myself as a teacher and how to run classes privately and publicly, liaising with arts and dance organisations.

GETTING ON TO THE COURSE

I HAVE JUST STARTED MY BLOGGING, I HAVE JUST FINISHED MY ROL MODULE TO GET ONTO THE COURSE. I AM EXCITED TO KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED ON FOLLOWING MY CAREER PATH AND MY ACHIEVEMENTS OF WHAT I WANT TO DO FOR MY FUTURE. I HOPE YOU ALL FIND IT INTERESTING, AND CAN TAKE A PART OF MY TEACHING AND PERFORMING CAREER ALONG WITH YOU AND WATCH ME GROW AS A PERSON.
 I WANTED TO START OFF BY EXPLAINING HOW I APPROACHED MY ROL MODULE AS IT IS A REFLECTION OF WHAT I HAVE LEARNT THROUGHOUT MY TEACHING AND MY PERFORMING CAREER AND HOW I APPROACH MY CLASSES, TRAINING AND THE STRATEGIES I USE IN ALL MY AREAS, AND HOW I MANAGE MY TIME NETWORKING AND GAINING KNOWLEDGE ALONG THE WAY TO AID ME.

DURING THE  PROCESS OF DOING MY ROL MODULE I HAD TO REFLECT ON VARIOUS PARTS OF MY TEACHING PROFESSION INCLUDING KEEPING MY CLIENTS AND STUDENTS FIT AND HEALTHY. I ALSO TALKED ABOUT MY PERFORMING CAREER AND HOW TO MAINTAIN PROFESSIONALISM IN ORDER TO WORK IN THE INDUSTRY ITSELF.
AT THE TIME IT FELT QUITE WEIRD TALKING ABOUT THESE ASPECTS AS WHEN YOU ARE PHYSICALLY TEACHING OR PERFORMING YOU DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME TO REFLECT SO I HAD TO ANALYSE SCENARIOS AND REFLECT ON THEM TO GIVE ME ASPECTS TO TALK ABOUT AND EXPAND ON.
AT THE TIME WHILST DOING THIS I FELT THAT IT MADE ME BE AWARE OF MY TEACHING AT THE TIME AND I BECAME QUITE CRITICAL OVER THINGS, BUT IT MADE ME AWARE OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE CHANGES I COULD MAKE WHILST TEACHING AND PERFORMING.

I FEEL THAT WHEN DOING MY ROL MODULE, FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS I COULD OF MADE WERE TO SET OUT A GOOD PLAN BEFORE STARTING THE ESSAY AND ELIMINATE AS MANY DIFFICULT AS POSSIBLE AT THE PLANNING STAGE BEFORE PUTTING MY AREAS OF LEARNING TOGETHER. ALSO TO REVIEW AND UPDATE MY TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE.

WHILST DOING THIS OTHER PEOPLE WERE INTERESTED IN MY PROFESSION AND WANTED TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT ME AS A PERFORMER AND TEACHER, THEREFORE THEY ADVISED ME TO EXPAND ON POINTS I HAD TALKED ABOUT AND ASKED ME TO WRITE WHAT I FELT WHEN I WAS PUT IN THE SITUATIONS, AND HOW I WOULD HANDLE THEM IN A PROFESSIONAL WAY ,AND WHAT I HAVE GAINED AND LEARNED AS A TEACHER AND PERFORMER AND WHAT I WOULD DO NEXT TIME THE SITUATION ARISES.
